What a crazy year it’s been so far. It won’t be too long before Father’s Day is upon us, this year’s date being Sunday 21 June here in the UK.
We thought we’d put together some lovely ideas for ways you can say thanks to dad. Whether you are living with him or whether it’s from afar.
Stargaze together
So Father’s Day this year coincides with the longest days of the year. Stay up late and hope for a clear night and see what stars you can spot in the night time sky. Even if you live apart, you could call each other and share what you see. There are some pretty handy star-spotting apps that you can download too which’ll help you identify the stars or planets that you could see.
Plan a back garden picnic
If we are still restricted on where we can go there are still ways you can make fun in the home. Why not plan a back garden picnic with dad? Dig out the picnic rug, opt for some picnic classics (Pimm’s, anyone?) and chill out together in the garden. Perhaps dad would like his own personalised cheese or tipple chopping board to go with it?
Look forward to your future travels together
Adventures will await you again soon, plan that road trip you’d always talked about, think about which mountain you’d like to climb together or perhaps which walking route you’d always thought of. Whatever the adventure, we are sure dad will love one of our personalised travel mugs to accompany him!
We’d love to hear your ideas on what you like to do with dad best. Share them with us in the comments below…
